Administrative & Paralegal Support Director at POLING
As Administrative & Paralegal Support Director, Mindi Schaefer is responsible for the management of the administrative, paralegal, and nurse support staff which includes recruiting, training, work-flow coordination, productivity management, crisis management, and continuing legal education.
With years of experience, Mindi participates in various types of litigation cases in the areas of medical malpractice, professional liability, general liability, governmental entity liability, business planning, business disputes, and workers compensation. She handles all aspects of the legal process including investigation, discovery, file management, and trial preparation.
Mindi has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Ohio to serve as a Commissioner on the Court’s Board for the Unauthorized Practice of Law. The Board conducts hearings, preserves the record, and makes findings and recommendations to the Supreme Court in cases involving the alleged unauthorized practice of law.
Mindi actively participates in the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio (“PACO”) and has held various leadership positions including President, President-Elect, National Federation of Paralegal Associations (“NFPA”) Primary Representative, NFPA Secondary Representative, Public Relations Representative, and Mentoring Program Committee Chair. Olivia Chadwick, Legal Support Specialist
Olivia joined Poling in 2020, working as the office Administrative Assistant. Olivia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University graduating with honors, Cum Laude.
Prior to working at Poling, Olivia worked for the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities where she cared for and assisted individuals with developmental disabilities.
Olivia has a passion for helping others and creating an efficient and cohesive work environment. Olivia enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, her fiancé, and her adopted dog, Natty.
